Jack Daniel’s

Jack Daniel’s at Taperia La Mina — Tennessee’s Most Iconic Whiskey

Our Jack Daniel’s at Taperia La Mina is the world’s best-selling whiskey and arguably the most recognizable spirit on the planet. Produced in Lynchburg, Tennessee, since 1866, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey is distinguished by its unique charcoal mellowing process — the whiskey is dripped through 10 feet of hard sugar maple charcoal before aging, giving it an extraordinary smoothness and a flavor profile unlike any other whiskey. At our restaurant in Benidorm, we serve Jack Daniel’s as it should be: on the rocks or neat, in a whiskey glass, savored slowly.

The Lincoln County Process

What truly sets Jack Daniel’s apart is the “Lincoln County Process” — every drop of the whiskey is filtered through hand-made charcoal from sugar maple trees before being placed in charred oak barrels for aging. This labor-intensive extra step, invented by founder Jasper Newton “Jack” Daniel, is what gives the whiskey its remarkable smoothness, its hints of caramel and vanilla, and its clean, mellow finish. It also legally defines Jack Daniel’s as “Tennessee Whiskey” rather than simply bourbon.

Tasting Jack Daniel’s

Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 pours an amber-gold color with inviting aromas of caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, and a hint of banana. On the palate, it is smooth and approachable with flavors of butterscotch, roasted nuts, a gentle smokiness, and that signature vanilla-caramel sweetness. The finish is medium-length with a pleasant warmth and lingering sweetness. It is a whiskey that rewards both casual drinkers and connoisseurs with its consistent quality and distinctive character.
